Terence's Story
Dr Terence Christian is a military historian and conflict archaeologist specializing in post-medieval armed conflict.
He received his Ph.D. in conflict archaeology from the University of Glasgow (Glasgow, Scotland) with a focus in aviation archaeology and went on to work as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Temple University’s Department of History.
His research primarily focuses on Second World War and Cold War aviation history and archaeology, the development of site recording methodologies, and the conception and application of historic preservation initiatives for conflict sites.
In addition to his academic research which has seen him survey and excavate numerous aircraft wreck sites around the globe over the past decade, Dr. Christian works as a military history and archaeology lecturer in the expedition travel industry.
He now runs his own archaeology company and lives in Richmond, Virginia.
